Group Personal Accident Insurance
Personal accident insurance cover could be arranged for an individual or for a group. The insurance will provide compensation up to an agreed limit, in the event of an accident. A lump sum is paid in the event of death (payable to dependent partners or employers) or permanent disability of the person insured. A weekly or monthly amount will be paid if it is temporary disability and medical expenses incurred will be met (up to an agreed limit) It is usually arranged on a 24 hours basis which means that it covers the insured even out of the work place. The benefits are usually in multiples of the insured employee’s annual salary or a capital sum is fixed. BENEFITS COVERED
